Posted On: 04/13/2022 I am not surprised that Dr Johnson has all 5-star reviews. I agree with every one of them! I had a problem that needed attention soon, and even though a separate appointment was usually needed, he kindly got me into his schedule immediately as I was leaving town the next day! He and his staff are warm and welcoming, skilled and reassuring, and gave needed information clearly and concisely. I recommend him with highest evaluation and great appreciation! Deborah H

He takes his time to explain the issue at and and answers any questions in a very detailed and professional manner. After being with him for only a short time you feel you’ve know him for ages. His office staff makes you feel very welcome and comfortable upon arriving. Needless to say the office seem truly pristine. Consider yourself lucky if fate brings you to him for periodontal issues. Posted On: 02/15/2022 I have severe periodontal disease and have been going to Dr. Johnson in Bonita Springs for years. Team Johnson is amazing....caring, kind, compassionate and outstanding professionals. I am terrified of dentists, and they all put me at ease. I have been going to Sara for years, and can't praise her enough. Finally, it was time to have one of my teeth extracted due to severe gum disease. Dr. Johnson and his assistant were stellar! He talked me through the process....it did not take long at all! No pain. It is now 4 days later, and I have had no pain, no swelling etc. I do follow the 'rules' he gave me, which I am sure is helping the healing process. If you are one of the unfortunate folks who have periodontal disease, I definitely recommend Dr. Johnson and his team. Barbara T

Posted On: 01/06/2021 I brushed my teeth too hard and incorrectly as a child, leaving my tooth roots showing with a receding gum line. I suffered this unsightly issue for 30 plus years until my dentist, DR. Tagg (Bonita Springs) recommended Dr Scott F Johnson in Bonita to perform the “pin hole procedure”, which is a simple procedure to lower the gum line. Wow, I love the results. Dr. Johnson did a fabulous job of bringing the gumline down on 4 upper teeth on either side of my mouth. The staff in the office is wonderful, providing professional and friendly assistance making appointments, and assisting with the gum procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Johnson. Deanme9

Posted On: 07/15/2020 I was taken immediately, quickly scanned for COVID symptoms and moved to an examination room. All procedures were thoroughly explained. My appointment was for a general examination and consultation, but when they noted a more serious, the doctor and staff immediately pivoted to treat that. They explained everything they were doing, the proposed course of action, and my options. I would recommend highly. John L

Posted On: 04/09/2020 I had visions of decades ago when the US Army pulled all 4 of my molars. WOW how times have changed! First you are greeted by a very professional staff. Staff handles paperwork effortlessly. Then, on to the procedure room. The assistant was professional and efficient. Once I was settled Dr. Johnson came in. We discuss if there was a way to save the tooth. He explained in detail why it must come out. He then started the procedure. He has a high tech piece of equipment the cropped the crown quickly and not a single twing of pain. With the root exposed he extracted them, again without any pain. He then clean the entire extraction area removing any infection. The proceeded to prep the area with bone in preparation for a future implant.

Dr. Johnson kept me informed at each step along the way. His manner is very reassuring and professional. I will certainly be returning for my future implant. Timothy W

Posted On: 11/20/2019 Went this am for a gum graft which I have been putting off for 8 years. I was so nervous that I almost rescheduled. I can honestly say that minimal pain with refusing to get a pain killer prescription other than ibuprofen and I am putting ice on for 15-20 minute intervals I am so glad I went. Posted On: 07/12/2019 Dr. Johnson performed a laser gum procedure for me. He was very caring, explained each step, gave encouragement along the procedure, and was also competent. I experienced very little discomfort during and after the visit. His staff was also excellent, calling me the nest day to check on my condition.
I would highly recommend his practice.

Posted On: 02/23/2019 I am eight days out from two implants by Dr. Johnson. This is not my first implant, but I am still in disbelief that Scott Johnson accomplished two implants, a sinus lift, and a bone graft in so little time with so little discomfort. It almost seems like magic, but I know it’s really that Dr. Johnson is totally committed to excellence and this is evidenced by his extraordinary staff, the rationality and logic of every function and policy in his practice, and the fact that he invests in and uses all the latest technology and equipment. I’ve learned not to under-estimate tech and equipment – it translates, for the patient, into less time in the chair (40 minutes versus three visits and about six hours) and way less discomfort. His staff is thorough and took time to explain the procedure and the aftercare. Posted On: 09/15/2017 On Monday in the aftermath of hurricane Irma I took a severe blow (A tree) to the chin. I bandaged and continued. I had some real concerns about the dental work Dr. Johnson had performed. I contacted his Bonita office on Thursday 9/14 @ 8:30 and was told to come in. Dr Johnson checked me out x-rays and all, everything turned out ok. He and his staff went above and beyond. Not only are he and his staff great professionals they are also wonderful human beings.
